Donald Trump shares surprising health update on Melania after escalator mishap

Donald and Melania Trump attended the United Nations General Assembly in New York, where Donald delivered a one-hour speech, the longest by any president at the UN. During his address, his teleprompter malfunctioned, causing him to pause and joke about the issue, saying the operator was “in big trouble.” The incident drew laughter from the audience despite the serious topics being discussed, such as the war in Ukraine and the Middle East.

Earlier that day, another unexpected mishap occurred. As Donald and Melania were riding an escalator inside the UN building, it suddenly stopped. Both looked back in confusion, and the White House later called for an investigation to determine if the stop was intentional. The UN clarified it was due to a safety mechanism being accidentally activated.

Donald later referenced the incident in his speech, giving a rare update on Melania’s health. He praised her fitness, saying, “If the First Lady wasn’t in great shape, she would’ve fallen.” Reports suggest Melania follows a strict diet and workout routine, enjoying activities like Pilates and tennis while often wearing ankle weights for added resistance.

Experts have praised Melania’s fitness choices, though some suggest she could benefit from more strength training to maintain muscle and bone health as she ages. Despite keeping a low profile, Donald’s comments highlighted her dedication to staying fit, sparking public interest in her lifestyle and role as First Lady.
