In a Truth Social post, Trump described three separate issues he believes were deliberate, calling them “a real disgrace.”

The first incident happened when the escalator carrying Trump and First Lady Melania Trump suddenly stopped, briefly leaving them stranded at the bottom. While the UN later explained that a safety mechanism had been triggered when a videographer stepped backward on the escalator, Trump and his team initially raised concerns about how it happened.

Once at the podium, Trump faced a second technical problem: his teleprompter malfunctioned, forcing him to deliver the first part of his speech without guidance. The audience responded with laughter when Trump joked about speaking “from the heart” instead.

Later, Trump claimed there was also an issue with the sound system, making it difficult for some attendees to hear him clearly without earpieces.
