Kamala Harris appeared on The View to promote her upcoming memoir, 107 Days, where she called Donald Trump a “con man” and revealed he once privately told her he would “tone it down” when speaking about her. Harris also said the 2024 presidential election was a very close race, a comment that sparked a furious response from Trump.
Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to attack Harris, calling her “DUMB AS A ROCK.” He strongly rejected her claim, insisting that the 2024 election was not close, and described his victory as a “LANDSLIDE.” Trump boasted about winning the electoral college 312-226, flipping all seven swing states, and even falsely claimed he won the popular vote “by millions.”
He accused Harris and the Democratic Party of spreading lies and demanded a public apology for her remarks. His rant focused entirely on disputing Harris’ statement about the election’s closeness, rather than her labeling him a con man in her book.
While Trump’s electoral college win was decisive, many of the swing states he carried were won by razor-thin margins — such as Wisconsin by 0.9%, Michigan by 1.4%, and Georgia by 2.2% — suggesting the race was far closer than Trump portrayed.
