Some people just have no shame — they lie, take advantage, and expect others to pick up the tab. Like the guy who came for free tacos every weekend, then asked for money when he missed a few. Or the family that took a bath at someone’s house and demanded their arepas be made “with butter, eggs, and cheese.”
There was also a friend who got a loan for a course, then refused to pay it back and badmouthed the person who helped her. Others freeloaded at work lunches, boyfriends skipped out on expensive dinner bills, neighbors “borrowed” tools and never returned them, and people took money “for emergencies” and disappeared.
Freeloaders can be shameless, and the ones who face them often end up paying the price — literally.
