Really Troubling’: Bret Baier Speaks On Obama Russiagate Docs

Fox News anchor Bret Baier weighed in after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard accused former President Barack Obama of a “treasonous conspiracy” to undermine Donald Trump following the 2016 election.

At a White House briefing, Gabbard presented what she described as documents tying Obama to efforts that fueled collusion narratives. She announced the material had been referred to the Justice Department, insisting indictments must follow.

Gabbard framed the situation as a “years-long coup,” claiming senior officials sought to delegitimize Trump before and during his presidency. She emphasized that political power should not shield anyone from accountability.

According to Gabbard, whistleblowers within the intelligence community have come forward, voicing disgust at the alleged plot. Their testimonies, she said, add weight to the documents being reviewed.

Baier, analyzing the developments, noted the disparity between the investigations into Hillary Clinton’s emails and Trump’s campaign. He argued that evidence of bias within the FBI raised serious questions about double standards.

The allegations highlight long-running tensions over the role of intelligence agencies in domestic politics. Supporters see Gabbard’s claims as overdue transparency, while critics warn they could inflame partisan divisions without clear proof.

The Justice Department has yet to comment publicly on the documents. Legal experts caution that proving treason or conspiracy at such a level would require overwhelming evidence. Still, Gabbard insists the material is strong enough to justify charges.

For now, both the Senate and the public await further disclosures. The episode underscores how unresolved controversies from the 2016 election continue to shape debates in Washington nearly a decade later.
