At 8:08 a.m. Saturday, emergency responders were dispatched to the Los Angeles home of 79-year-old actress Diane Keaton, whose wit and warmth defined some of cinema’s most unforgettable roles. The call for help was heard in dispatch audio obtained by TMZ, with a dispatcher saying, “Rescue 19, person down,” before giving Keaton’s address. The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed they responded to a medical emergency at that time and that one person was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance. Sources later confirmed that the person taken from the home was Keaton herself, who was later pronounced dead.
