A priest offered a nun a ride one afternoon after service. As she got into the car, she gracefully crossed her legs, and her gown slipped just enough to reveal part of her leg. The priest, caught off guard, almost swerved off the road. After regaining control, he tried to keep calm, but his curiosity got the better of him. As he shifted gears, his hand “accidentally” brushed up her leg.
“Father,” the nun said calmly, “remember Psalm 129?”
The priest quickly pulled his hand away, embarrassed. But a few minutes later, while changing gears again, his hand wandered up her leg a second time.
“Father,” the nun repeated gently, “remember Psalm 129?”
This time, he yanked his hand back and didn’t say a word for the rest of the ride, his face bright red.
When they arrived at the convent, the nun smiled, thanked him politely, and went inside. Still flustered, the priest rushed to the nearest Bible and opened it to Psalm 129. The verse read: “Go forth and seek, for you shall be rewarded.”
The priest nearly fainted.
