If This Isn’t the Greatest Miracle, Then What Is?

On December 9, a tornado ripped through a mobile home in Tennessee, tearing off the roof and lifting 4-month-old Lord from his bassinet. Inside were his parents, Sydney Moore and Aramis Youngblood, with their two young sons.

As the tornado hit, Aramis tried to grab the bassinet while Sydney shielded their one-year-old, Princeton. After the storm, Sydney walked over a mile in the rain to find help.

Aramis later emerged from the woods holding Lord, who had landed gently in a tree and was miraculously unharmed except for a concussion and a minor ear injury.

Though they lost everything, a GoFundMe raised over \$105,000 to help them recover. The family was overwhelmed by the kindness of strangers—neighbors brought food, clothes, and diapers.

Aramis said, “We’ve seen the worst of nature but also the best of humanity.” Despite the trauma, Sydney and Aramis remain hopeful and determined to rebuild, drawing strength from their family and the support they’ve received. Their story is a powerful example of survival, hope, and the resilience of the human spirit in the face of disaster.
