Emily and Damon’s blind date takes an unexpected turn when they realize their 14-year-old sons look exactly alike—and share the same birthday. Shocked, Damon rushes to confront his unstable ex-wife, while Emily searches for answers in her late husband’s belongings.

At the restaurant, Emily and Damon bond easily—until Damon shows a photo of his son Jordan, who looks identical to Emily’s son, Bradley. Neither adopted their child, and both boys were born on April 16. Damon leaves to question his ex-wife, Naomi, who suffers from schizophrenia.

Naomi claims she gave birth to a baby—and “a parasite”—which a “tall man” took away. Meanwhile, Emily discovers a letter from her late husband, Jack, confessing he rescued a baby abandoned in an alley and faked adoption papers. That baby became Bradley.

When Damon returns, Emily shares the letter. He realizes Bradley might be his son. Emily pleads with him not to take the boy away.

Suddenly, Bradley storms in with Jack’s rifle, having overheard everything. “I’m not going anywhere!”

Damon calmly reassures him: “You’re Emily’s son. That won’t change.”

They explain the situation, and Bradley learns he may have a twin brother. Though overwhelmed, he agrees to a DNA test.

As he retreats upstairs, Emily turns to Damon. “What now?”

“We tell Jordan, take the test, and move forward together,” Damon says, squeezing her hand. “Whatever happens—we face it as a family.”
