My Husband Wants a Divorce, Yet Insists We Keep Living Together With His Mistress

After 30 years of marriage, a woman was blindsided when her husband suddenly announced he no longer loved her. Soon after, she discovered the real reason: he had been having an affair with a 20-year-old intern. Heartbroken but determined, she agreed to the divorce — with one condition: the house would remain hers and the children’s. But instead of moving out, her husband brought his mistress into the home, turning her life into daily humiliation.

The young girlfriend acted as if she owned the place, leaving messes, treating the wife like a maid, and clearly trying to push her out. The woman endured it quietly until the mistress crossed a line — she invited friends over and ordered the wife to make them coffee. At that moment, something inside her snapped. She served them drinks mixed with dish soap and calmly told them to leave her house and never return.

That night, she confronted her husband with firm boundaries: his mistress and her friends were no longer allowed in her home. If he chose to stay with the girl, he could do that elsewhere — but not under her roof. She immediately contacted a lawyer to protect her rights and secure her children’s future, refusing to let the two of them bully her out of the life she had helped build from nothing.

Still, despite her strength, she admits she’s full of pain and confusion. She can’t understand how 30 years of love and sacrifice could be erased by a six-month affair, or why the man she supported through everything turned so cruel. Now, she’s asking others for advice, trying to make sense of a betrayal that shattered her world.
