Man Arrested After Wife’s Death Involving Protein Shakes — New Trial Details Released

James Craig, a Colorado dentist, is heading to trial for the murder of his wife, Angela Craig, after prosecutors accused him of poisoning her protein shakes with arsenic, cyanide, and a chemical found in eye drops.Angela died in March 2023 after being hospitalized multiple times for severe symptoms, including vertigo and cold lips—unaware her husband was allegedly behind her illness. Investigators say James made suspicious online searches like “how to make murder look like a heart attack” and ordered potassium cyanide for no legitimate reason.

The case took a disturbing turn when his daughters testified against him. One revealed he asked her to help fake a video making it seem Angela had requested the deadly substances. Another said he opposed an autopsy, claiming it would just “satisfy curiosities.”

While James’s defense argues there’s no direct proof he tampered with the shakes, toxicology reports confirmed Angela was poisoned. The judge ruled there’s enough evidence for trial.Angela, a mother of six and active church member, was remembered as a loving, health-conscious woman. Her family continues to seek justice as the case unfolds. James has pleaded not guilty.
