Isabel returns home early and finds her husband Paul with his mistress, Jane. Paul, powerful and dangerous, brazenly moves Jane into their home. Isabel wants to leave but is trapped by Paul’s threats, especially over their children.

Desperate, Isabel tries to enlist a lawyer but is initially rejected. She then convinces Jane to help her gather evidence against Paul. However, Paul discovers the plan, punishes Isabel by isolating her, and keeps her from seeing the kids.

When Paul and Jane leave on a trip, Isabel sneaks into Paul’s office disguised as a servant and finds incriminating documents. She sends the evidence to the police and media. Just as Paul’s security arrests her for trespassing, police arrive and arrest Paul instead.

Isabel watches Paul being taken away, finally free to start a new life with her children, stronger and more independent than before.
