ICON DEAD 😭💔 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing

Rick Davies, the voice, keyboardist, and co-founder who helped define the sound of Supertramp, has died at 81 after a long battle with cancer. His songwriting and performances on timeless hits like The Logical Song and Take the Long Way Home helped shape one of rock’s most distinctive eras.

Born in England, Davies co-founded the band in 1969 with Roger Hodgson, and together they reached global fame with the landmark album Breakfast in America. Even after illness forced him from the stage, Davies remained connected to music, leaving behind a legacy that continues to resonate with generations of fans.
