Jayne Trcka, an iconic figure in bodybuilding and a familiar face in cult film and television, has died at the age of 62. Her death was confirmed by the San Diego Medical Examiner, with the cause still pending. According to her son, Trcka passed away on December 12 in San Diego, and there were no known illnesses or medical conditions that might explain her sudden death. Born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in February 1963, Trcka built an extraordinary career defined by discipline, strength, and reinvention. After moving to Southern California in 1986, she transitioned from gymnastics and sports into competitive weight training, quickly rising through the bodybuilding world. By 1988 she was already competing, and over the years she earned top placements in more than twenty competitions, including first place at the 1997 California State Championships and the 1998 Junior Nationals. Her presence graced major fitness magazines such as Flex and Iron Man, cementing her status during bodybuilding’s golden era.

Beyond fitness, Trcka successfully crossed into entertainment, becoming widely recognized for her role as Miss Mann in Scary Movie, where she appeared alongside Anna Faris, Regina Hall, and Shannon Elizabeth. Even as her acting career grew, Trcka never left fitness behind and later worked as a certified trainer and realtor. Her life reflected relentless determination, versatility, and strength—both on screen and off—leaving behind a legacy that bridged sport, entertainment, and inspiration.
