We work out to keep our bodies strong, but our brains need workouts too. Little challenges like puzzles, crosswords, and logic questions keep your mind flexible by forcing you to slow down, focus, and think creatively. The best part is that “aha” moment—when the answer clicks and your brain feels like it just did a rep at the gym.
Here’s a classic one: How many holes does a T-shirt have? The correct answer is 8. Count the obvious openings first: two sleeve holes, one neck hole, and one bottom opening (that’s 4). Then notice the shirt in the picture has two holes punched through the front—and because they go all the way through, they also create two matching holes in the back. That adds 4 more, bringing the total to 8 holes. The trick is remembering that “holes” aren’t just edges you can see—they’re openings through the material.
