That shift became clear on the stat sheet, as the Seahawks, led by Super Bowl MVP running back Kenneth Walker III, defeated the Patriots 29-13, according to ESPN’s Super Bowl recap.Much of that margin stemmed from a difficult night for Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, who was sacked six times and turned the ball over three times.The first turnover came in the third quarter, when linebacker Derick Hall recorded a strip sack, his first forced turnover since 2024.In the fourth quarter, linebacker Uchenna Nwosu and safety Julian Love intercepted Maye on consecutive possessions, ending Patriots’ remaining drives.
