12-Year-Old Villa Rica Student Passes Away After School Bus Tragedy, Family Wants Answers

A quiet afternoon in Georgia turned into heartbreak when 12-year-old Jada West stepped off her school bus and, according to reports, became involved in a confrontation with another student near her neighborhood. What began as an argument quickly escalated into a physical altercation, and soon after the incident, Jada experienced a medical emergency that led to her being rushed to the hospital. She was first taken to Tanner Medical Center and later transferred to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Scottish Rite. Despite medical efforts, she sadly passed away on March 8, 2026. Authorities in Villa Rica are now reviewing the circumstances surrounding the incident, including videos and witness accounts, while the official cause of death has not yet been confirmed. Investigators and the district attorney’s office continue to examine what happened that day as the community waits for answers.
