Amber Luke, widely known online as “Dragon Girl,” is preparing for another dramatic transformation as she travels from Australia to Barcelona for controversial body modification procedures that are heavily restricted in her home country. The 31-year-old influencer has already spent an estimated $250,000 on altering her appearance and now has tattoos covering nearly 98% of her body. Along with her extensive tattoos, Luke has undergone numerous extreme modifications, including blue tattooed eyeballs, sharpened fang-like teeth, forehead implants resembling horns, and a split tongue. Despite criticism and public debate surrounding her appearance, Luke continues to defend body modification as a form of personal expression. She believes beauty is subjective and says people should be free to transform themselves however they choose. During interviews and social media updates, she explained that many cultures around the world embrace unique forms of body modification, and she sees her choices as part of that broader expression of individuality and identity.

During her trip to Spain, Luke plans to undergo two procedures she has wanted for years. The first is a silicone subdermal implant placed under the skin of her hand to create a raised bow-shaped design. The second is a “coin slot” procedure, where a section of tissue is removed from the ear to allow stacked earrings to pass through a permanent opening. Although these procedures face strict regulations in Australia, they can legally be performed by licensed professionals in Spain. Luke has acknowledged that her appearance has limited her employment opportunities outside social media, but she says she refuses to work for companies that judge her solely on her looks. Instead, she takes pride in the confidence and resilience she has gained through her transformation journey, insisting she has become someone she is truly proud to be.
