Tiny holes in clothing may seem mysterious, but they are usually caused by repeated friction and stress during regular laundry routines rather than poor-quality fabric or moth damage. One of the main causes is the washing machine itself. In top-loading washers, the central agitator twists and pulls lightweight fabrics during the wash cycle, gradually weakening the fibers until small tears appear.
