Travis Kelce’s $5.35 Million Lake Erie Estate—The Most Remarkable Details Are Hidden Inside

A heart-shaped driveway curves through towering trees toward a mansion that remained one of Ohio’s best-kept celebrity secrets for months. Travis Kelce reportedly purchased the Bratenahl property in March 2026, before his wedding to Taylor Swift and long before the transaction became public on September 1. The private village sits beside Lake Erie, only a few miles from Cleveland Heights, where Travis and his brother Jason grew up. Recent homes in the community carried a median sale price near $490,000. This residence, however, belongs in an entirely different category. Even its stately brick exterior gives little indication of what waits inside.

Figurati Construction Group acquired the historic home for $1.95 million in 2023 and spent roughly a year renovating it. The company listed it for $6.99 million in 2024 before reducing the asking price to $5.99 million. Travis ultimately secured the property for $5.35 million, with David Ayers and Nick Zawitz representing both sides of the transaction. Mature trees, gated grounds, and proximity to a private airport offered an unusual combination of privacy and convenience. But after the front doors open, the scale of the purchase becomes impossible to overlook.

Built around 1895, the approximately 21,000-square-foot estate occupies 3.5 waterfront acres. A purchase this substantial may involve a real estate attorney, specialized insurance, mortgage planning, estate considerations, and a serious long-term investment, although no court dispute has been reported. Imported walnut and oak paneling frame an elaborate staircase guarded by carved lions, while leaded-glass windows scatter colorful light through the rooms. The mansion holds eight renovated bedroom suites, a marble sunroom, a professional kitchen, and an original butler’s pantry. Its former ballroom has been transformed into a game room and home theater, preserving the home’s history while making it comfortable for modern family life.

The lower level adds a billiards room, poker area, wine cellar, tasting room, fitness center, sauna, and an intimate cocktail bar finished with exposed brick and green velvet seating. Outside, stone terraces lead to a heated swimming pool facing Lake Erie, while a restored two-bedroom gatehouse provides private accommodations for guests. A Control4 smart-home system now operates throughout the restored 19th-century property. Local residents believe Taylor and Travis will still enjoy privacy, pointing to the area’s history of respecting famous neighbors. After years of stadium crowds and international attention, the couple now has a quiet place near Travis’ childhood home—welcomed by a driveway shaped like a heart.
