Actor Chad Lowe and his wife Kim Painter are grieving the loss of their 13-year-old daughter Fiona, the family confirmed on Tuesday.Sharing a statement with PEOPLE, the family paid tribute to Fiona: “We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona. She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance. She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives.”The statement continued: “Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time. Lowe, the younger brother of actor Rob Lowe, is best known for his Emmy-winning turn as Jesse McKenna on Life Goes On.He and Painter married in 2010, and welcomed Fiona – their second daughter – on 16 November 2012. Their eldest, Mabel, arrived in 2009, followed by their youngest, Nixie, in 2016.Marking Fiona’s 13th birthday last November on Instagram, Lowe wrote: “Celebrating Fiona officially becoming a teen today!! Keep dancing through life FiBear! Love you soooo much!!”Earlier this year, in February, he shared a more sombre post — a photo of his three daughters standing arm in arm, surveying what remained of their Los Angeles home after it was destroyed in January’s Palisades Fire.
