The men were initially spotted separately. They were later seen together before returning to a white van.Police determined that the vehicle was a rental, adding another detail to an incident that had already attracted the attention of people responsible for security at the school.The circumstances were particularly sensitive because Archie and Lilibet were not the only children attending the school. PEOPLE understands that several American children at the school have families connected to a nearby U.S. military installation at an RAF base.

For Harry and Meghan, however, the concern went beyond the presence of two unfamiliar men near the school.
