She seemed like a wife who needed looking after. Nobody could have guessed she would be the one pulling the trigger. For 15 years, Sheri Mitchell-Clutts, 65, and Timothy Clutts, 69, built a life together in Russellville, Alabama. From the outside, they were as unremarkable as any couple on the block, the kind where a husband dutifully kept friends updated online while his wife fought through a serious medical recovery. But little did anyone know that something dark was coming. What Were These Updates?
On April 27, 2026, Timothy logged onto Sheri’s Facebook page to share news about her open-heart surgery with friends and family. At 1:32 p.m., he wrote that the operation was complete, that he had spoken with her doctor, and that everything had gone well.A few hours later, he was back with more, explaining that Sheri was sedated, but her blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels were all excellent. The updates were like something written by a man who hadn’t left that waiting room once.
