Kaley Cuoco has announced that she’s expecting her second child with fiancé Tom Pelphrey.The former Big Bang Theory star shared the sweet news about baby number two on Instagram to her 7.8 million followers.She also revealed the gender confirmed that a ‘little sissy’ was on the way for three-year-old daughter Matilda“Completing our little family, what a dream come true,” she wrote.“This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways but wow we are so grateful for this moment!“Little sissy on the way!!! @tommypelphrey girl dad for life.”The 40-year-old star posted a slew of images including a sonogram image of their impending bundle of joy and a mirror selfie proudly showcasing her growing bump.The post has since racked up thousands of likes and has been flooded with messages of congratulations and well-wishes, including one from former Big Bang Theory co-star Simon Helberg.The Ozarks’ star Pelphrey also made an update on Instagram, sharing a similar haul of shots and writing: “Deep gratitude and joy – so much respect and admiration for @kaleycuoco on this journey of ups and downs.”
The two actors got together in 2022, and welcomed little Matilda in March 2023.“We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle,” Cuoco wrote.”We are blessed beyond belief @tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did.”Cucoco has previously revealed that she and Pelphrey decided on the name within a week of meeting each other, long before she got pregnant.We looked at each other and it was like, ‘Would it be crazy to say if we had a baby we’d name her Matilda?’” she told TODAY.com in 2023.“You know when you first start dating and you’re so obsessed, and you’re planning your future children. It was that sort of thing.“When we got pregnant and we learned we were having a girl, we were like, ‘Oh my God — we have the name.“We actually kept her name a complete secret until she was born.”And it’s so her. She’s such a Matilda.”For now, the couple are remaining tight-lipped on what they plan to call their next daughter, but if it’s anything like the first time around, they’ve probably already got it set in stone.
